Candied Bacon Twists
You can opt out of the cayenne pepper but it adds a nice sting with the sweetness of the brown sugar, elevating your breakfast bacon.
ingredients
1 pound thick-cut bacon
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoons cayenne pepper
Cracked black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400F. Line a large baking tray with foil and parchment paper.
Twist each slice of bacon as tightly as possible and arrange them next to each other on the prepared tray.
Sprinkle the brown sugar, cayenne pepper and cracked black pepper on top.
Bake for 20 minutes, then flip the bacon and bake for another 10-20 minutes or until crispy.
